Debbie is a Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta with a 3300-hour massage certificate. She decided to change careers in 2015 after an extensive administrative career in the oil and gas industry. Looking for a way to help people while achieving better work-life balance, her search led her to massage therapy.
Debbie has always believed in health and wellness throughout her lifetime, whether it involved teaching fitness classes, staying active, or continually educating herself in nutrition.
Massage can provide a powerful healing effect, using the power of touch to help nudge the body toward recovery. Her treatments focus on working with the body and listening to what it needs. Her massage style can include a combination of Swedish, trigger point, deep tissue, and fascia release techniques, allowing the body to let go of everyday tension while calming the nervous system.
She takes the time to listen to your needs and provides individualized treatments tailored specifically to you.
While Debbie is fully certified and practiced as an RMT in Alberta, she is currently not licensed in British Columbia and therefore offers relaxation and wellness massage services that are not billable through insurance.
Having been raised in BC and with a deep love for the Shuswap, Debbie recently made the decision to move back and call it home.
Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking, paddle boarding, cross-country skiing, and hiking. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her outdoors guiding friends and family on all kinds of fun adventures.
