Nicole graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Eager to expand her knowledge of the mind-body connection, she completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training. Fascinated by pregnancy, birth preparation and recovery, she is working on continuing education in Pre- and Postnatal yoga training. Nicole has also completed subsequent yoga training for traumatic brain injuries, and has applied this to her practice, primarily assisting individuals experiencing a concussion.
Nicole was very active in various styles of dance through her school-age years, which sparked the onset of her personal yoga journey in university. With this came a passion for movement and a commitment to holistic wellness. Nicole brings this commitment to her Kinesiology practice and offers a client-centered approach, understanding that each individual is a complex combination of mental, physical, and emotional health.
In her free time, Nicole will often be found adventuring the Shuswap with her boyfriend and their dog, or renovating their fixer upper. Nicole is known to be very creative and enjoys woodworking, crocheting, embroidering, and homemaking, always keeping her hands busy.
